Job Description

Role Purpose :

To ensure timely, cost effective and efficient procurement of Engineering Materials

Planning and Strategizing:

Understand the procurement strategy for all materials for the organization and support achievement of business objectives.

Understand long term and short term plans for the RMPM procurement team. 

Also strategizing on All India Logistics, prioritising initiatives for the business

Responsible for implementation of best practices in procurement of materials and services for Oleo / PCP India operations, vendor management, transaction processing and delivery management

Ensure effective delivery of computer applications required by the business (both inhouse and outsourced) to agreed quality specifications on time and within budget

Responsible for managing resources for purchasing (materials and services) and materials management for Oleo / PCP Operations in India Define and agree service levels and metrics for the measurement of services

Ensure periodic revision of Inventory norms for Plants in India based on changing business scenarios and implementation of the same
Coordination, Interface, Imparting Training 
Responsible for vendor management - managing relationships, resolving issues and developing new vendors for Operations in India Develop IT systems, policies and processes which ensure that IT services and products are available to the business and business secrecy is maintained

Provide inputs for Annual Business Planning processes "Consult and advises Business Unit Heads on information technology management needs and problems

Infrastructure and Technology Investment and Management
Ensuring accuracy and timelines of procurement related data in the ERP system for Operations in India Seek and gain support to investments in technical infrastructure to ensure that technology is effectively leveraged to support business operations
