We have an urgent Opening for the position of PP&C Analyst II for Honeywell Aerospace.
Job Expectation:
Develop and establish common techniques, requirements, and methodologies for WBS, MS project schedules, EVMS for various programs across multiple sites, program/project teams, and suppliers.
Develop and establish common techniques, requirements, and methodologies to perform critical path analysis, and analyze schedule risk, as well as tools needed
Develop and establish common techniques, requirements, and methodologies to incorporate external schedules from customers and suppliers as well as provide updates to external customers through specific tools
Provide Program Management Leadership with an assessment of schedule performance, associated issues, concerns, and propose recommendations for corrective action(s)
Improve program and service quality by devising new applications; updating procedures; evaluating system results with users
Identify milestones and respective responsible teams, update in MS project and other tools, then facilitates accountability and completion
Conduct weekly reviews with multiple CAMs (Cost Account Manager) to provide regular status updates
Provide regular short range outlook (30-60-90 days) of critical milestones, critical path, and other schedule performance indicators
Requirements Include:
Requires strong management, leadership and organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Responsible for managing multiple program/project for a major project that crosses several functional areas and sites.
Typically works with program management and engineering to formulate project schedule.
Thorough understanding of the development life cycle for our Aerospace products, including mechanical and electrical hardware, software, other additional technologies/analysis, qualification, and certification
Thorough understanding of risk management process
Thorough understanding of how to interpret metrics including knowing what drives the trends
Thorough understanding of all EV metrics and trend analysis (interpretations, calculations, limitations)
Thorough understanding of how to establish and read leading indicators using historical trends
Thorough understanding of the product life cycle to enable ability to recommend changes to recover or mitigate performance
Thorough understanding of all EV and RDE tools, scorecards, and dashboards
Thorough understanding of scheduling best practices including reasons or justifications supporting the best practices
Thorough understanding of schedule risks, pitfalls, and weaknesses including ability the recognize these at a glance and with add-on tools
Thorough understanding of MS Project (the tool) and other add-on tools to perform schedule quality checks, critical path analysis, and Monte Carlos simulation on key milestones
Thorough understanding of critical path analysis and how to work the schedule to mitigate risk, recover schedule delays, and add robustness
Skill Requirement :
Requires Bachelors degree (in Business Administration) or equivalent, and 3 to 5 years of related (project support or management) experience
Expert knowledge and understanding of MS Project (MS Project Server a plus)
Expert knowledge in EVMS
Competent in Microsoft Office suite of Programs, specifically Powerpoint and Excel
PMP certification required
SAP Project Systems experience a plus
